MEET YOUR GUIDE
CURTIS CISZEK
For over a decade, Curtis has called the lower Deschutes his fly fishing home. With his knowledge of the area, the current, and prime fishing spots, he is the ideal guide for your Northwest fishing adventure.

HOW I GOT HERE
Born in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Curtis spent his childhood split between land and sea. When grounded, he adventured in the wilderness of northern Washington, where he developed a love for nature and wildlife. At sea, he and his family sailed the world on a 120-foot sailboat, with trips lasting up to six years at a time.
His passion for fishing began at a very young age, as he was on the water for more than half of his childhood years. At the age of 12, the Ciszek family fell victim to a major accident on the Delaware River, which resulted in their relocation to Bend, Oregon.

^ MY PARTNER IN GUIDE: ROWLF
Curtis’ passion for the outdoors is spread across all seasons and skillsets. At the age of 16, he became a professional snowboarder, getting the experience to travel to new places while fishing season was dormant. Over the past 17 years of his travels, he always finds time to explore nearby rivers, and has been fortunate to fish all over the world.
Through all of his travels, he is always drawn back to the lower 12-mile stretch of the Deschutes River; claiming he has never fished another system that is more tailored to swinging flies to summer-run Steelhead.
